These are the books which are currently lying on my desk, next to my bed or in the living room in order to be read, or to read it again and again and again....
The Science of Success , by Wallace D> Wattle, was my holiday favourite. I took it with me to the coast and actually read it in one day, better in a few hours.
EXCERPT of the preface says: It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterwards. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who wants results and who are willing to take the conclusion of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached .....
and further on: Excerpt: It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, developes his mind, and unfolds his soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to him that he should be rich....

This book teaches us that we can have whatever we desire, just by living and acting in A CERTAIN WAY:

Excerpt: There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the interspace of the universe......man can form things in his thought....can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.....
..in order to do this man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind.....
... unwavering faith that he does get what he wants, closing his mind against all that may tend to shake his pupose, dim his vision, or quench his faith....

Getting curious??? You should. And you should read this book over and over again, take it wherever you go and read it mornings, lunch time, afternoons and at night, until everthing it tells you is second nature to you.
Stop thinking in limited ways, you are used to and told to belief by others. Don't let anybody tell you, you cannot do what you want, cannot reach your goals because you do not have the money, this is only their belief, but yours will be different after you have read this book. And you will be a success in all ways.

I have not read the other two books, but am confident, that they are also inspiring and teaching us to belief in ourselves and then nothing can stop us anymore.....

This is a really inspiring and classic book.
If you haven't read it yet, I urge you to do so, as the story opens our minds and shows us how cruel we are sometimes to others.
Only because somebody is different and we cannot classify them into our preconceived conception, we reject them immediately. Or even accuse them falsely of things, we know, they didn't do at all.
Why???
We want everybody to accept us the way we are, the way we dress, the way we style our hair and the way we live or where we live. But we gladly forget that everybody else has the same right.
And we talk badly about everybody who is not fitting into our own little world, because they might have green hair, wear only black clothes or are married to somebody of a different culture, or are too thin or overweight, shy or too outgoing......
There are thousand things we can find to reject people without even knowing them at all.
The next time somebody walks into your life, who appears kind of different to your opinion , change your mind. Before you start gossipping, stop and reject any bad comment you might have on your tongue and ALLOW the person to be. Just allow everybody to have their own way of life and allow yourself to be and accept yourself to be the person you are.
And all is well.

Quoting Abraham-Hicks and my way to respond to it daily..

Please read this quote, which I by the way get every day on facebook from the Abraham-Hicks Group, and think about the last few hours and how much you might have tried to tell somebody to act, dress, think or feel differently and what kind of reaction you might have got accordingly.

I really try every day not to add to negative thoughts, e.g. world news, things other people might tell me about other people, by not adding even more negative things, but try to convert every negative news I hear into a positive one.
How do I do that? I always find something better about the news, something positive, as Dr. Demartini always says: There is no bad without good, no sad without happy.
Another example I have read somewhere today is: Is the glass half empty or half full?
And still I always fall into the trap with my youngest son Frank, who is nearly 16, when I pick him up from school. He begins to talk to me about what happened in school, what kind of conversations he had with his friends and the stress he had with his teachers and why and what he thinks about it and what he is going to do when he is grown up.
And what am I doing then????? I tell him to be more positive , that with his attitude he will not reach his goals, that he has to understand the others and why they might have done things different......
Everything I am avoiding with other people, everything I try to get thru to you and others not to do, I do myself when I am around my son. WHY???????
I guess because I love him and I want him to reach his goals, I want him to be a multi millionaire, I want him to have his own island, I want him to be able to do what he loves and to fullfil his dreams and wishes every second of his life.
And as soon as I opened the quote for today, as posted here, from Abraham-Hicks, I knew I have to let him be, let him dream, let him his own opinion and let him choose whatever he is choosing.
I cannot force my positive thinking attitude on him. He must learn to choose whatever it is he is choosing, even if it is hard to accept, when someone who you love, is negative or in your opinion on the wrong way, not to react and tell that person YOUR opinion, that what you choose for yourself to believe is the right way, but I am really trying to accept the fact that he has chosen the life he is living right now and I only can be a 'good example' with my positive attitude and believe that this will impress him sooner or later and that he might choose a different way.
'til then, I still love and accept him as he is and work on a positive way to let him be and to react differently, positively when is he telling me more of his dreams.

Hello to all of you.

Today I found a way to add links to my site I approve of. These are all books I have read myself, I heard of or I am going to purchase myself one by one.
I am grateful I can show you from which sources I have got my knowledge and write about here.
In the past weeks a lot has happened in my life, thanks to the changes I made in my life with the help of the knowledge I have gained from these books.
I finally, with a lot of positive thinking, daily affirmations and belief in myself, got the opportunity to do what I love.....being my own boss and teach children.
I have quit my job as a dental assistant,are about to sell my previous house and am about to buy a house with a private Kindergarten attached, meaning from next year on I am my own boss and earn money doing what I love, working with children.
I have worked for a dental assistant for 6 years now and also love the job, but after a while it wasn't enough anymore. I think I learnt that live has to offer more and that one has to close a door, before another one gets open, which I did by deciding that I do not want to be a dental assistant for the rest of my life. Converting it into something positive, as you shouldn't affirm what you do not want, so I started to really think about what my heart desires, what makes me smile instantly, and asked myself what would bring a smile to my face and lets my heart beat a little bit faster and 'Kids' especially 'Babies' came to my mind, so I decided for myself to be around babies, kids and working with them has to be it.
I already have a few years of experience with day care and Kindergarten work and I started to affirm, that I love to have a private Kindergarten.
I constantly tried to get myself aligned with my Higher Self,affirmed my wish and let go of all resistance. Believe it or not, a few weeks later I received a call from somebody and she offered me to buy her house and kindergarten......
So, do not let wrong beliefs get in your way to fullfil your desires. Belief in yourself and the abilities you have, ask the angels for guidance and faith and everything falls into place.
It did for me and I am positive that we will find a buyer for our house soon, as all this is guided by the angels and I believe they brought me so far, because this is what has to be.

Affirmations and the importance of them in your daily life

I manifest what I affirm
Does this ring a bell?
Have you ever heard about affirmations and how to use them?
When I first heard about affirmations, I randomly choose one or two, said them a few times and when nothing magical happened, I forgot about them until I heard, read and stumbled about these issues time and again and I said to myself, this is not a coincidence, nothing actually is. So I decided for myself to learn more about it by reading books from Dr. Demartini, the Abraham-Hicks books, surfed the internet, read books about angels from Doreen Virtue and Diana Cooper and as I said before stumbled across various articles in local magazines about gratitude, positive thinking, law of attraction and the power of our own thoughts and how to change our lifes by adjusting our thoughts.
And the use of affirmations was prominent in everything I have read, no matter what book or article I came across.
What I have learnt so far is that with positive affirmations I can direct my life to whatever I desire.
One of my favourite affirmations I came across in a book of Dr. Demartini:

I AM A GENIUS AND I APPLY MY WISDOM

At first it didn't do anything to me when I religiously affirmed this daily. But after a while when I used these words deliberately whenever I feel unhappy, they rang a bell in me and I could feel a shift inside me taking place. Now, whenever I feel a negative thought or feeling creeping up inside me I affirm: I AM A GENIUS AND I APPLY MY WISDOM.
And suddenly I remember everything I have read so far about positive thinking, how to redirect your thoughts, all of the important details of books or articles I have read are popping up in my mind and positive affirmations come flowing by like little
birds in the sky: let go of the oars and flow downstreams,I am grateful for....., I am lovable, valuable and I deserve, The Universe has abundant supply of everything and I receive my share of it today, I am completely financially secure and taken care of......and lots and lots more. Every little bit my mind found important and copied while I was reading, comes up instantly and helps me to get my balance back and be grateful for my life as it is, because at first you need to be grateful for everything you already have, before you can attract more in your life. That is one aspect you must never forget.
As I am not such a good explainer, I suggest that you find yourself books, articles and websites for more information to help you fully understand the importance of affirmations in your life and how to use them correctly.

World Wide Web and Marketing

The last days I was searching the world wide web trying to find a few hints on how to make money online and how to promote your blog, how to write good and interesting posts.
I must tell you this was not as easy as you would imagine.
When you find an interesting site, you will be constantly forced to click on the next page and next page and next page, all you find is a valuable heading, but if you click on it, more headings, more sites to click on will appear and if you finally get the answer on what you were searching about, it is useless. This, I believe is called MARKETING...
I am not sure anymore,if this is the right approach to manage a blog, because it is more of an diary than a site, where people can get useful information.
But anyhow, I will keep it up and I believe that in time a lot of people will love my blog as well.Because, besides the ads around, I won't give them more and more sites to click on, but inform them about my views of life, my experiences and my tips and hints, which I found useful in my daily life,straight forward.
And I would love to receive even hints and tips from you, my readers, please feel free to write comments and share my blog with all your friends.
I would need tips on how to find a useful site on how to make money online, free, and I mean free, because all I could find was sites where you have to purchase something before you can start.
I would love to fill out surveys online to make money, but you first have to buy a program again..... any idea how to get into a program free?????

*whenever you find yourself in a negative state, keep focusing on something happy in your life; activity, add a positive phrase, see a cheerful image and pop up this, as soon as negativity gets hold of you; meditate on this positive image
and you will feell better soon....

*do not give up whenever something gets stuck, but see the other opportunity the Universe holds for you instead; never make it an urgengy or be inflexible, stay open to may options and not bound to this only one..

my personal opinion is: whenever one door gets closed another will be open...
this is not only a phrase, but the trues. Please find a situation in your life, when something didn't work out as you wished it,remember what happened then??
Disappointment, anger, emptiness, but can you remember what happened instead and was this what happened instead not even better? Maybe the other door openend not immediately, because of all the negativity we feel, when somthing doesn't happen our way immediately, but after a while, something must have happened instead..the other door must have ben opened eventually....
If you remember such a situation, please leave your comments about it and tell us how you felt, when you realised that this is true: when one door closes another door opens.....

Some notes I have made while reading books about this:

Affirmation: I open myself to my spirits capacity:-to trust
-to release worries
-to be peaceful
-to forgive myself
-...add as you wish or need
quiet your mind and listen for answers, tuning into your intuition and try to distinguish between the voice of intuition or fear.

* when you are in need, think about the issue and ask your Higher Self to help, again tune into your intuition and distinguish between intuition or fear.

*when you get into bed, send your spirit (Higher Self, your 'who you really are', no matter how you call it..) into the world/Universe to do the work for you, ask for specific info you need right now to proceed with your goals, keep a notebook at your bedside and write down any impression that you may have during the night, even dreams may have the answer to your needs..
send your request into the world/ Universe, you may be surprised by the response you get this way..

*your beliefs are the fuel to your cosmic engine- you will archieve what you belief, not what you want or desire...

Weekends....

Sunday evening again. The weekend is over already, even if it seems that it just started.
Weekends are supposed to be a relaxing, stress free time, but for most of us, especially working mothers, the only changes are that we can sleep a little bit longer, but as soon as we are up, we are working again...preparing breakfast, feeding the washing machine and the dishwasher, hanging up the washing, doing the shopping for the following week, preparing lunch, or dinner, gardening, car washing, you name it.
Most of us have a partner to help us out with all these things, or we ask our kids to help us, but they are under the impression, that the weekends are for resting.
Right, but not for the mothers. The only help is to be grateful for having a family, for having a house with garden, for having a car, for having enough clothes, for having actually a wonderful live. This will let you feel a little better about all your cores you are doing daily and especially on Sundays, when all the others are resting.
Be grateful and you will not feel that all this is a burden, but a blessing.

Positive Thinking/Emotions

When we are unhappy, having negative thoughts, we are going UPSTREAM, we are sitting in our boat, paddling against the Current.We must let go of the oars, releasing resistance against the Current and then we float downstreams, where everything we ever wanted is. Nothing we ever wanted is UPSTREAM.
Try this in your mind: whenever a problem occurs, think, I just need to let go of the oars and float downstreams (see yourself physically throwing the oars overbord..), where the solution already is waiting for you. Let go of resistance to the positive outcome of the problem, get somthing positive to think of, see yourself there happy and joyful the problem already solved,and feel your emotions getting positively as well, meaning, you are now aligned to what you're really are, Source, and the problem will be solved in magically ways....

Negative Thought showing resistance, then you are attracting resistance
Positive Thought showing alignment, then you are attracting everything you ever wished for into your life.

How to cope with death of a family member

Hi,
I am so overexcited and eager to get this blog going, that I nearly forgot, that yesterday was a special day. A special day might be the wrong description for this, as on 22.7.2001, eight years ago, my sister Sabine died . She had a malfunction, as they called it, when she performed her 3. parachute jump.
I can still feel the pain as if this ws yesterday, when my little sister phoned me to inform me about this, not able to speak at all on the phone and handing the receiver over to a friend of ouers. I didn't even listen to everything he said to me,I dropped the phone and cried hysterically.
But how do you cope, how do you go on with your life???? It is really not a question I can give an answer to suit everybody. I can only tell you, how I am trying to cope with a loss of a dear one in my life. I just believe......When my sister died I turned to the angels, coincidence that she introduced me to angels,guides and non physical beeings??? No. There is no coincidence in our lifes, everything happens as it has to happen, exactly as it must be. I bought books about angels (mostly of Doreen Virtue and Diana Cooper) and read as much as I could about the near death experiences and life after death and later in life, books about positive thinking and how to create your own life (ever heard about Abraham-Hicks Books?). And I started to believe. I couldn't resist the thought, that my sister is somewhere else, happy watching over us, spreading her wings out to protect me. I just believed and it helpd me to go on. We have persons in our family who can, like Mrs. Hicks comunicate with the nonphysicals above. It might sound crazy to people who are not aware of all this, but I can post a letter here, which I received a few month later from my guide up there,channelled by a related person, which was prove enough for me that all this is true. But this is another story. To you, who are not aware of all this, but still interested about this matter, please start reading Abraham Hicks Books. And to you, who are aware of these facts, you understand what I want to say anyway...to all, you must find something to hold onto, to make the pain bearable, but don't give up. Try to find a positive reason for this, even if it sound weird at this stage, there is a positive thing to everything in life. You must just believe in it and find it. There is always a positive and negative linked together. There is no exception.
My family tried to overcome pain and sorrow by lighting candles every day for my sister, talking about her, recalling lots of happy and funny times we had together.
So never think of a person to be gone, they are still with us now and forever, even if we cannot see them, but sometimes you feel them, really close to you...

So to Sabine....I didn't forget you yesterday, I just was occupied with other things, I hope you didn't mind.. and don't think about dropping the shower head on me....
this is an insider, to be told to you, maybe by the person who experienced this in real....

Middle of the Week

It is Wednesday, for the younger generation here in Namibia, called Klein Saterdag (meaning Small Saterday) just in time to celebrated the forthcoming Saterday. A welcome time to de stress and go out with friends and have fun, but remember it is only Klein Saterdag, you must be home earlier as on the usual outgoings on the BIG Saterday, because you still have to work the next day.
As I said, it is mostly for the younger generation, my eldest son is making use of this implementaion when he is here from college.
The two other sons are not so keen to use this Klein Saterdag, they are still in school and need their beauty sleep so far.
And me??? I am only aware of this, because this is announced over the radio on Wednesdays, never mind going out on big Saterdays... and of cause my eldest son is going out on Wednesdays and Saterdays, when he is home.
Me, come home from work, making dinner, usually, nowadays,as you know, I am to find in front of the PC and my youngest son had to made dinner tonight, lovely mash potatoes and crumed pork neck chops, tasted really nice, couldn't have made this better, so what the fuss about me, changing my priorities to serve the family a little bit to have fun myself....

Monday again...

Hello,
I am reallt a bit concerned, why nobody is clicking on my sites. Maybe I have entered the wrong link, I don't know.
Anyway,
a new week ahead, Monday nearly over.
I mostly have a blue Monday, still dreaming about the weekend: sleeping longer, phoning my sons, who is studying Sportsmanagement and Coaching, Or Sport Science, in Cape Town.
On Sunday I always call, except this Sunday, because our telephone is broken. So I called him from work today. He is never talking much, you must ask him whatever you want to get out of him( must be related with me...???...), but is is a sort of religion.
Do you have things you're doing religiously????
Like clicking on my site??thant would be a nice one.
I try to religiously write my posts here and know, that you out there will click on my page eventually.

Hi there,
toaday it is Sunday, a day to just relax and do nothing!Right. But for a fullday working mother this is just a dream. I have to do loads of washing on Sundays, at least 6 loads, but luckily we have access to household helps here in Windhoek. This means I do not have to do the ironing and the cleaning of the house.
And.... a bit of relaxing is there for me too, otherwise I wouldd'n sit here on thePC, writing and surfing the net, still looking for more options to make my blog and my website more interesting to readers.
So please keep clicking on my site and help me to get going.

This is my first post here and I hope this will not be the last. My family is not so keen about this, as I am lately hooked on the PC and forget to cook dinner and all. They think I neglect them a bit, but as a fulltime working mother I need to have a little time for myself and a kind of jobby. As writing is a passion of mine, I have a certificate in Short Story writing, I think this a good solution, as I have a lot to talk about, of my kids, my work, actually about all sort of daily views.
So please keep me busy here in future, it is kind of relaxing to me and my family will profit of it, as the wife and mother is happy and relaxed, not when she burns the beetroot today...but still
